MACBETH

William Shakespeare wrote this play in the 1600s and it is based on the stories of the old royal families of Scotland. Our play is set in Scotland in 2009. It is the story of a man named Macbeth. He is a soldier and friend of Duncan, the King of Scotland. Macbeth has been fighting in the war against Norway, and when he comes back to Scotland, he meets 3 unusual sisters. The sisters tell him that they can see the future, and that Macbeth will one day become king. Macbeth and his wife then start to plan how they can murder King Duncan, so that Macbeth can become king himself…
