A thrilling and touchingly funny encounter with a self-titled simple girl
'Give this girl an audience and make her a star * * * * ' The Herald

A thrilling and touchingly funny encounter with a self titled simple girl - at once mischievous flaneur, epic sentimentalist and grandiose fibber. Tales of glamorous peril jostle with a live soundtrack, executed by idiosycratic heroine Melanie Wilson.

A SIMPLE GIRL is a one woman trans-European adventure, that trips from glamorous intrigue through macabre curiosity to the lonely flight of lost love and a yearning to be something more, to be someone else.

It was nominated for a Spirit of the Fringe and Best Actress award at the Dublin Fringe Festival.
