
There are two public entrances: one on Cross Street with steps only; one on St Ann's Square, with a lift straight to Box Office. This entrance is always open during performances.
Public Transport By Bus: The Theatre is within 15 minutes walk of all major city centre bus stops.
By Train: Piccadilly railways station is a 15 minute walk from the Theatre. Victoria station is a 10 minute walk and Oxford Road station is 15 minutes away.
By Metrolink: Metrolink's nearest tram stop is Market Street, a 5 minute walk from the Theatre. St Peter's Square/Library is the most convenient stop if coming from the Altrincham direction.
ParkingThere are over 3000 car parking spaces within a 10 minute walk of the Theatre. Car parks with evening opening close to the theatre include: Market Place multi-storey by the Renaissance Hotel (320 spaces*); High Street multi-storey above the Arndale Centre (1450 spaces) and Manchester Evening News Arena Car Park (1000 spaces).
Discounted ParkingRoyal Exchange patrons can get discounted evening parking at the Market Place car park. Simply validate your parking ticket at the Box Office, and your parking will be automatically discounted when you return to the car park.
Coach ParkingThere is a drop off point for coaches on Cross Street. Waiting time is restricted to 15 minutes. There are some access restrictions in place during the day, these are marked on the above map. The nearest coach park is on Sheffield Street, near Piccadilly rail station.
