The Royal Exchange Theatre is committed to improving access for all theatre-goers and aims to ensure that disabled visitors have an enjoyable experience. We have wheelchair spaces and a lift in St Ann's Square, providing level access to all floors. We also welcome guide dogs and hearing dogs.
Booking Tickets
Please call Box Office who will be happy to advise on seating, book your tickets for half price (except for restrictions) and also book a companion seat if applicable. Call 0161 833 9833 and let them know you have mobility restrictions.
We do not take bookings online because we have specially allocated seats for patrons in wheelchairs.

In the event of the St Ann’s Square lift being non operational please contact our Box Office Staff who will make alternative access arrangements for you.
We have infra-red assisted hearing facilities and offer BSL signed performances. Each production in the Theatre also has an audio-described performance with a Touch Tour for the visually impaired.
Our season brochure is available in large print, braille, on CD and email formats, and our programmes are available in large print and braille, free of charge. In addition, our Access Guide to The Theatre is available from the Marketing Department on 0161 615 6784 or by e-mail.
Disabled patrons can obtain half-price tickets for all performances.Half-price tickets are also available for a companion, if applicable. This discount applies to all seats other than the lowest priced tickets. Unfortunately we regret that discounted tickets cannot, at present, be bought on-line.
